East Valley Women’s League is a group formed through friendships, that works to empower and inspire women, children, and teens to lead more promising lives.
EVWL continues to have a positive impact on our community. Serving the Valley of the Sun since 2001, we have returned over $1.7 million dollars to those in need throughout the Phoenix Metro Area through our programs, including over $370,000 in scholarships. 42 Active Members and 59 Life Members continue to give their time, talent, and treasure. Join us in our mission and help make the Valley of the Sun a better place for those in need.
East Valley Women’s League Members 2023
In 2001, sisters Tara Stainton and Tracy Worischeck launched an outreach to help women and children in need in our community. Forty women from various backgrounds joined together to form East Valley Women’s League, Inc.
East Valley Women’s League continues to be recognized for their efforts in our community. In 2016, they received the Tempe Community Council’s Guiding Light Lifetime Achievement in Philanthropy Award which honors those who exemplify the spirit of giving through extraordinary support of the Tempe community. In 2022, EVWL was named Best Non-Profit by BeLOCAL Chandler.
